The Whisky Club is pleased to announce their second tasting.

Taking place on Wednesday 24th June, the night will feature five newly-released single-cask drams, light nibbles, and the opportunity to mingle with like-minded individuals. 

Please note that to attend, you must become a member of the Whisky Club (details below). 

As the date coincides with the final group stage game of Scotland's World Cup endeavour, the evening will continue to a different location to watch the match. The game will kick off at 11pm for those that are interested. To celebrate this occasion, tartan clothing is highly encouraged! m

Date & Time: 6:00-8:30pm

Location: The Merchants Hall for the tasting, location TBD for the football afterwards.

Annual Membership fees cost £40, with this tasting costing an additional £20. 

Member benefits include:

• Access to tastings
• The opportunity to take part in cask purchases
• First access to bottlings

Payment will be taken after the event via bank transfer, following confirmation of those that attended. To register your attendance at this tasting, or to become a Member of Whisky Club, please email William Diamond (william@icelantic.com).

On Wednesday 1st July, we are delighted to welcome The Ripple Project. Join us to hear directly from CEO Rachel Green about the inspiring work being delivered within the community. This is a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the challenges facing grassroots charities, and to see the meaningful difference The Royal Company of Merchants is making through its support.

We hope you can join us for what promises to be an engaging and empowering event. Tickets are free, but must be reserved through the booking link.

Our annual Membership Recruitment event will take place on Thursday 10th September, 6-8pm. 

This is a great opportunity to introduce friends and colleauges to the Company, and spread the word about Membership.

• The meeting will be followed by wine and light bites.
• Members are welcome to invite a guest to the reception following the meeting.
• We politely ask that guests arrive after 18:30. Please select if they will be joining you after the meeting when registering.
