Introducing Iain Galloway as Chair of Governors of Erskine Stewart Melville

Iain Galloway has been appointed Chair of Governors at Erskine Stewart Melville, taking over from Katie Ridland as she takes up the role of Master at the Royal Company of Merchants

The Royal Company of Merchants of the City of Edinburgh is delighted to congratulate our member, Iain Galloway, on his appointment as Chair of Governors of Erskine Stewart Melville.

Iain Galloway already serves on the School’s Governing Board and brings extensive international investment experience to his new role. His career has included managing European investment portfolios with Standard Life Investments and building and leading investment teams at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. Now back in Scotland, he is an active angel investor and adviser and holds a number of board and leadership positions. 

A member of the Merchant Company, Iain also has strong connections with the Merchant Company schools and has previously served on Erskine Stewart Melville’s Parents’ Liaison Committee.
